Our Mission

We share the good news that Jesus can change your life. The heart of the gospel is "that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and believing in Him, all people may have life in His name" (John 20:31). We, the Rose Hill Presbyterian Church, propose to share the good news by:

Exalting God
Psalm 95:6-7 "Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care."
Revelation 4:11 "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being."
Encouraging One Another:
Romans 12:4-8,10,13,16 "Just as each of us has one body with many members, an these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us... preaching.... serving... teaching.... encouraging... contributing... leading..... caring."

Our Goals

Goal 1: Make prayer and worship foundational to our lives.

Goal 2: Our relationships are caring and supportive.

Goal 3: We are reaching out to the hurting and the lost in mission and care ministries.

Goal 4: We are training and developing spiritual maturity and leadership for all ages.

Goal 5: All of our God-given resources are used wisely as stewards.

Goal 6: God's Word and witness to Jesus Christ will be proclaimed.

Goal 7: We are helping people come to Jesus Christ and become established in a Biblical church family recognizing our responsibility to grow numerically.

What We Believe

THE BIBLE is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God for us and for our times.

THE TRINITY means that God is one, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

JESUS is the Christ, Savior, Lord, and Son of God. We believe in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.

THE HOLY SPIRIT, the Helper, is a divine person who indwells Christians at the time of salvation and empowers them to live a godly life, sealing them for eternal life.

HEAVEN & HELL are real places. The saved will be resurrected to life, and the lost will be resurrected to damnation.

SALVATION is the free gift of God for those who repent, confess their sin, and trust in Jesus as Savior and Lord.

THE CHURCH is the family of believers, consisting of all who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, are redeemed through His blood, and are born again of the Holy Spirit. They are the Body of Christ commissioned to make disciples for Jesus Christ.
