Rose Hill Prayer Ministry
Confidential Pastoral Prayer
The church staff meets weekly to lift the congregation in prayer. If you have a specific request, you may indicate it as confidential on one of the blue prayer cards in the pew racks or call the church office to speak with a pastor.
Prayer Partners
We are exactly what the name implies....we partner with the Holy Spirit, agreeing in prayer with you, to seek the emotional, physical and/or spiritual healing that God the Father wants for each of His children. We aren't counselors, but we will be happy to refer you to one of the pastors or to a counseling service should that be your desire. Prayer and counseling are the optimum combination in some situations. There is no need too great or too small, that we can't take it before the Lord, seeking the healing that He wants for His children. Call the church office if you'd like to connect with someone in this ministry.
Prayer Chain
The Prayer Chain is a method of passing on prayer requests to the faithful pray-ers of the whole congregation. If you have a need that you'd like to go out on the church prayer chain, call the church office (425-827-4649), e-mail office@rosehillpc.org, or submit the request below.
The Prayer Chain serves a specific area in our prayer ministry. The Session approved the following: “1. People who sign up to pray using the Prayer Chain should have access to the internet or have an answering service on their telephone. They should be currently part of our church family -- members or regular attendees. (We would encourage those who are no longer part of our church to join a prayer chain in their new church.) 2. All prayer requests must go through either Pastor Bill or Pastor Doug before they will be sent to the chain. This keeps the Office Manager and the Prayer Chain Leader from having to make decisions about what is appropriate and makes sure that all requests are uniform. The pastors will word these requests as specific as possible without mentioning anything that might be inappropriate or embarrass the person being prayed for. 3. Requests for prayer will be honored for present needs and concerns of members and their immediate families. We do not send out prayer requests for people not connected to members and their families or world situations because these concerns can be prayed for individually. Moreover, these concerns are part of the ministry of every church member.”
